Every year since 2001 we have had stories to mark 010101, 020202, 030303, etc. Now we have 070707.

Yes, another day that appears only once in a lifetime is here. Whether you’re buying a can of 7 UP from the 7-Eleven store or naming the seven colors of the rainbow, the number seven appears repeatedly in everything from refreshments to religion.

As William Shakespeare said in As You Like It, a man’s life consists of seven age: infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, middle age, old age and dotage. So, at some point in life, you’re bound to encounter the number SEVEN.

1978 – The Solomon Island become independent from the UK

1981 – President Reagan announced he was nominating Arizona Judge Sandra Day O’Connor to become the first female justice of the US Supreme Court
