Windows 7 looks like Vista?

Here are some screenshots of the latest Windows 7. It looks pretty much the same like Vista. Of course there are updates and upgrades ~ “a return to the Ribbon interface, a simplified start menu, “My Documents” has been replaced to Libraries, fewer User Account Control alerts and a “light” Windows Media Player to name a couple.” Overall, they believe that there aren’t much changes. Wait a minute, isn’t that Vista background?

I'm afraid Windows 7 is the same as Vista, only without the driver databases. If I'm not mistaken, Vista loads huge generic drivers to support lotsa devices, making it a bit heavy..

What it is actually is a strip down version of Vista with basic VGA,RAID,IDE and USB Drivers and others are plug-n-play.

supposed to cater for ATOM based processors where power is saved and the update caters to the 6 and 8 core processors of AMD and INTEL and load up parallel processes (x86) which means, faster loads and less memory.
